As a competitive athlete for most of my childhood and into high school, I developed a passion for fitness and healthcare. I participated in several sports including gymnastics, track and field, and more recently, powerlifting. After a devastating injury in gymnastics, I was recommended to see a sports Chiropractor, who worked with various health care professionals. The clinic environment was extremely positive, and I saw firsthand the passion that Chiropractic physicians have for helping people change their life through exercise and rehabilitation.
Following this injury, I found my love for powerlifting and competed in my first meet at the age of 15. I fell in love with seeing gym progress and creating healthy habits. I became a personal trainer in 2019 to guide, educate, and empower others on their unique paths to wellness. From general weight loss to world-class powerlifters, I take a holistic lifestyle approach, like the model of Resilient Spine and Performance.
The experiences I have as a personal trainer, powerlifting coach, and rehab assistant have helped me develop my future career ambitions. I enrolled at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL in 2021 to pursue a BS in Sport and Exercise Science with a Pre-Chiropractic emphasis. Following the completion of this degree, I aspire to become a Chiropractor and attend National University of Health Sciences.
When I’m not at the gym, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, or being outdoors.
