Coach Elliott  brings a performance driven and people first approach to his style of training, blending strength, conditioning, and Olympic weightlifting to help athletes and everyday individuals unlock their full potential. As both a Coach and General Manager at Resilient Spine and Performance, Elliott leads the morning group fitness classes with an unwavering enthusiasm, creating an environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and inspired to grow. Under Elliott’s leadership, the Resilient Weightlifting team he founded focuses on technical excellence, smart programming, and a supportive culture that values hard work, consistency, and community.

With a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology from North Central College, Elliott combines a deep understanding of human performance with a genuine passion for helping others thrive. He holds his USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification and is currently pursuing his USA Weightlifting Level 2 Certification, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the NSCA, and the Exercise Physiologist certification through ACSM.

An athlete his entire life, Elliott has competed in football, baseball, track and field, boxing, rowing, and most recently and currently, Olympic weightlifting. He has completed multiple half marathons and continues to pursue new challenges both inside and outside the gym. This lifelong commitment to movement and discipline fuels his coaching philosophy “train with a purpose and with intention but have fun doing it.”

Driven by a genuine investment in others’ success, Elliott’s goal as a coach is to help each person reach their full potential, whether that means hitting a PR, improving confidence, or simply feeling stronger and healthier. He prides himself on building meaningful relationships, understanding what motivates each individual, and creating sessions that feel less like “work” and more like progress.

If you ever see Elliott outside the gym, he’d be enjoying a movie at the theater, hanging out with his wife Gina, their cats Frank and Fiona and their lovely Maltese, Bella, and if you catch him at a restaurant, he’ll be really embracing what it means to be a true foodie.
