At the age of 16, volleyball was not just a hobby but the focal point of my life. As a member of the high school varsity team and an active participant in club volleyball, my weekends were devoted to different gyms and sports complexes, and my after-school routine revolved around intense three-hour volleyball practices. However, one weekend tournament took an unexpected turn. On the second play of the game, I landed awkwardly on my ankle, immediately collapsing in pain. I was carried off the court, handed a pair of crutches, and informed that my season had come to an abrupt end. Disheartened, I found myself watching my teammates from the sidelines when a friend approached with a suggestion: "You should really go see my chiropractor. He's like a magic doctor and can totally fix your ankle."

Though initially skeptical, as I associated chiropractors primarily with back issues, my desire to resume playing led me to give it a try. This decision became the turning point in my life, the moment I realized my calling as a chiropractor. Entering the chiropractor's office on crutches, I emerged not only walking but also able to play within two days. Astonished by the results, I returned to his office with burning curiosity—why hadn't my trainer or doctor mentioned chiropractic as an option?

In that pivotal conversation, the chiropractor unraveled the foundational principles of the body and its inherent healing capacity. It all not only made perfect sense but also ignited a profound passion within me. This experience marked the beginning of my journey towards becoming a chiropractor, driven by the desire to provide others with natural, hands-on, and exercise-based care that had reshaped my own life. I embarked on this path by completing my undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the National University of Health Sciences. Subsequently, I successfully attained my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the same institution.

Why Resilient?

Specializing in the treatment of sports-related injuries, my practice is dedicated to serving competitive athletes, active individuals, and female youth athletes. I’m passionate about working with young athletes to support injury recovery, strength training, and sport-specific development. This focus stems from my own experience—I wish I had started in the gym earlier to build healthy habits, confidence, and a strong foundation for long-term success. I aim to help youth athletes improve their form, develop strength, and cultivate a positive relationship with fitness that enhances both their performance and overall well-being. My mission is to empower them to approach training and competition with confidence, resilience, and a sustainable mindset.
